MY STORY
THE WOMAN
As a part of the Navajo and Zuni Nations I was raised on recognizing and respecting the beauty of nature. There is no question that this earth is a breathtaking example of the Great Creator's handywork and I often find myself in awe of this beautiful home created for our spirits to dwell in.
My father, who is an artist himself, instilled in me a passion for self-expression through the creative arts. As a young child I was often the subject of my father's art projects and my fruit has not fallen far from my father's tree.
My youth was spent attempting to discover who I was through various creative outlets, but it wasn't until I fully dug my roots into my native heritage that I truly found myself in jewelry making.
My passion is sharing my heritage with curious minds, honoring my ancestors and those who paved the way before me, and giving thanks to my Heavenly Father above who gave me the ability to see the beauty in everyone and everything.
THE PRODUCT
All pieces of jewelry are hand-crafted and hand beaded. I am greatly enamored by Native and Southwestern Art and gain inspiration from every aspect of Native Culture. I do my best to respect the materials given to me and use music and nature to inspire my handywork.

Most elements used in my work derive from the Earth. Bones, Stones, and Leather are all elements you can expect to be featured in my jewelry.

My hope is that my love and joy for creating is seen in every piece purchased and enjoyed.
THE SUPPORT
I can't talk about my art without talking about the wonderful support of my family. I was raised in a wildly creative environment thanks to my parents. It's because of their artistic foundation, the creative lifestyle of my father, the nurturing encouragement of my mother, and the overwhelming support of my husband and children that I am able to enjoy creating in the capacity that I am now.

Tyme Artist was born because of my need to rediscover who I was after becoming a stay-at-home Homeschooling Mother of my two wildly talented and bright boys.
It is because of all the loved ones involved in my life that I get to provide an income and share my art with those who love what I do as much as I love creating.
Furthermore, the love and support I receive from customers and supporters of my work is more than I could have imagined. It is because of you that I am able to continue this venture, provide for my family, and teach those around me that you are unique and valuable and all you need is a creative mind.
